Electric Utility Medical Program

Offers a program where clients with a documented medical condition may be eligible to obtain medical certificates. These certificates allow Xcel Energy to provide additional advance notification of a planned power shutoff or notification of an unplanned outage as a result of: Severe weather Wildfire mitigation Other emergency situations Additionally, participating customers may be eligible to suspend credit action, such as: Late fees Disconnect notices for up to 90 days, allowing additional time to set up pay arrangements and/or seek energy assistance Services: Utility Arrearage Payment Plans

Who can use it
