Legal Services for Older Adults

Provides legal services for older adults through the Health and Elder Unit regarding civil matters. Offers legal advice and service for the following topics: Full representation in court and before administrative agencies Public benefits (TANF, SSI, OAP, AND) Medicaid and Medicare Social Security and SSI Standard medical and financial powers of attorney, living wills, and declarations of disposition of last remains Divorce and/or grandparent rights advice Unemployment Also provides information on how to choose a long-term care facility and what options there are in regards to financial assistance to cover the cost of long-term care.
