Respite Care and Support for Children and Families

Provides time-limited support for families in crisis. Services include: Temporary housing and care for children whose parents are experiencing: Homelessness Mental health issues Substance abuse issues Domestic violence issues Parent mentoring Safety planning Referrals to local resources Services: Crisis Nurseries/Child Care, Mental Health Related Support Groups, Specialized Information and Referral

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Who can use it: Individuals must: Be aged 0 - 18 Be children of parents/caretakers who are experiencing the following: Homelessness Mental health issues Substance abuse Domestic violence Lack of support and are in need of emergency assistance Live in Larimer or Weld County Have medical insurance prior to staying with a host family Parents must have custody of the children and cannot be listed as respondent on an open Dependency and Neglect case.
